Rotary Club Visits 3rd Grade
In October the Rotary Club came to visit the third graders. They discussed the importance of reading and explained how to use a dictionary. Students got to search and find words in the dictionary. At the end of the assembly every third grade student received a dictionary to take home. Thank you Rotary Club for your support in education!
SU Field Hockey Visits Classroom
The SU Field Hockey team visited our classroom in October. We had a great time painting pink and white pumpkins for their Breast Cancer Awareness game. Each student designed their own pumpkin to be judged during the game.
Many students then attended the the game where awards were presented for the best designed pumpkins.
I am so proud of each student and their awareness to Breast Cancer! Way to go Mrs. Varner's Class and thank you SU Field Hockey team.
